My Wild Ones ~ Splashing around.

I’m just going to say this quietly as I don’t want to scare it away but, I think summer might be here.   On Tuesday it was absolutely tropical in Yorkshire, hitting about 32 degrees and so after school we headed over to my parents house.  Luca’s best friend, R came too with his mum and brother and we enjoyed a BBQ and paddling pool session.

The boys spent ages playing volleyball over the net attached to the pool and generally playing and splashing around.

They also kept dunking their hats in and putting them on their heads full of water which apparently is hilarious.

The slide my parents have has an attachment for a hose pipe so it can be a water slide.  It only seemed right that we should give that a go too.   We also found it highly amusing turning the hose pipe on fast to get (rubbish) funny photos. *snigger*

We had a brilliant afternoon/evening just playing in the garden and when it came time for the boys to say goodbye there were some tears shed. Love these two and their little friendship, it’s adorable to watch. How cute are they sharing a towel?

Post paddling pool snuggles to get dry!

What a great day for the two of them, as soon as there’s a hint of sun and heat my lot are off in the river (our equivalent of a paddling pool). It’s great to see their imaginations taking off as they play in the paddling pool, I mean of course hats filled with water being put on our heads is hilarious! Your parents garden looks like the perfect place for such a wonderful friendship to play and explore together!

Thanks for linking up with me on #Country Kids.

Wish we had a river, think I’d be more inclined to join him then. I’m so lucky to have their garden, it’s the perfect space for him and friends to play and explore.

They did have a great time. I love watching them enjoy the simple things like a paddling pool, plastic cup and a hat!
