Review ~ Disney Character Tsum Tsum’s

As a kid I was never really a Disney fan, however Luca is a huge one. His collection of Disney DVD’s is constantly expanding and we quite often have to listen to Disney songs in the car or at home, whilst he tries to guess the film that they are from with his cousin.  When we were asked if we would like to review some Disney Tsum Tsum’s it was a bit of a no brainer really.

I told Luca he was getting some Tsum Tsum’s sent in the post and he was beside himself with excitement.  Every day the postman came he would ask if there was anything for him, and when they did eventually arrive it was on our way to school.  He had to wait a whole day to come home and open them.  The anticipation must have been eating him alive.

When the time came to see what was inside he could barely contain himself.

There were two different packages inside, a 3 pack and a 9 pack.   Luca knew all but two of the characters that were in the packages and was delighted to get two Minnie Mouse vinyls, a little one and a big one so he could stack them up.  He also got Sebastian, Goofy, The White Rabbit, Dumbo, Olaf, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Stitch & Gus.

The 9 pack included one mystery Tsum Tsum that was hidden inside a little bag.  Luca had a browse through the little collectors guide that comes with them and decided he would really like Perry from Phineas and Ferb to be inside his mystery bag.

And what were the chances?!  Perry he wanted, Perry he got.

As not a massive Disney fan myself I wasn’t sure whether I would be impressed with these but they are all really cute.  Our favourites out of the 12 we received though were Sebastian, Minnie Mouse, Olaf and Stitch.

Luca loves playing with them, stacking them up, lining them up and using them for some imaginative play.  He also takes them in the bath with him most nights and because they are vinyl they make perfect bath toys.  This means they now live nestled among our shell collection in the bathroom.

There are 68 characters (which all come in small, medium and large) across the three series of Tsum Tsums, so loads more to collect and that’s not including the mystery packs.  I’d like to say we won’t be collecting them all but secretly I’d quite like Ariel & Thumper and I know Luca want’s the Cheshire cat too, so we might add just a few more to the collection. In fact he’s already managed to get Ant to buy him a Baymax.

You can see all the characters to collect here.  They would make the perfect christmas gift for anyone Disney, we will be adding a few as stocking fillers for Luca this year.

*We were kindly gifted these toys for the purpose of this review.  However, all thoughts and opinions are my own, as always.*
