On Mothering Sunday I woke up to the sound of Luca babbling away through the baby monitor, this instantly puts me in a good mood, there is no better way to be woken than by the sounds of your happy content child. Ant went and brought Luca into our bed and we had 15 minutes just cuddling and playing as a family. The boys then left me to get up and get ready whilst they pottered of to the kitchen. When I finally joined them I was surprised to find a kitchen table fully set up for breakfast with a choice of different things to eat and drink, my Mother’s Day card and beautiful bunch of flowers.
After a perfect morning where I got so much more than necessary, we headed over to my mum’s house to spend the rest of the day with her and spoil her. I wrote my mum a letter (well a blog post actually) which you can read here and then bought her some books as she loves to read and some flowers as she loves them too.
